As a family-owned, hometown automobile service shop, Hillman Automotive has never done much advertising. Their success over their first decade in business came from performing quality work and word of mouth. But with all the services Hillman offers, from oil changes to tires, RV work to fleet maintenance - and an impressive new environmentally friendly facility - the time had come to get the word out on Hillman. They needed a comprehensive marketing plan that would include an advertising theme, brand new website, some public relations work, assistance with a grand opening event and much more.

JFG first met with the Hillman family to get a better understanding of where their marketing needs were. Realizing that Hillman's success was based on being community-minded - practically knowing everyone who walks in the door - JFG developed a primary tagline of "We know you" and "Your vehicle will love it here". The theme was then consistently branded in direct mail, radio, their website and all future materials. JFG helped Hillman realize success in public relations as well. The business had a great story to tell about their recently opened "green" facility. JFG used its media expertise to turn a well written press release into a must-have story for local media - including a centerpiece story, photos and online video in the area's largest circulation newspaper.
